Overwhelm? Next step? Ideas required? read ON

Ah the tree survives
I had a long busy day today, and after work, slid down a slippery slide into a temporary funk. As I mulled circumstances over, other than having more to do than I can get to, there’s no apparent reason to feel that way. Somehow I will get through this.
I actually accomplished quite a bit, and for this I am grateful. I still have a few things to do, and I can work on them tonight and tomorrow. It’s a beautiful full moon. Thus if I am a bit moody, I can say the moon is tugging at my emotions. Good news: I am not hungry. No aches in that category. I still have my PT job.
Thus by momentarily reflecting, my gratefullness supercedes the funk. In an odd way, I change my perspective. The following is an email that I thought you might find useful. Mary
Hi Mary
Thank you to everyone who jumped on the chance to be a test
subject for my new self study coaching program. We did find
a couple one bug that we resolved, but other than that no
other issues. There are still a couple of spots left if you
would like to test the program as well.

I spend quite of bit of time last night talking with my son who
has had several issues happen in his life lately that has him
feeling a little overwhelmed and hopeless.
I am sure we all can feel this way at one time or another, as
life like to deal us unexpected surprises now and then.
Today’s article is 10 questions you can ask yourself during the
times when things are seeming to go a little off track. Some
may apply to the situation and some may not. I have included all
10 questions because they are a great set of questions to have on
hand to review on a regular basis, not just in troubled times.

Article: 10 Questions To Ask Yourself
<>——–<>——–<>——–<>——–<>
Occassionally we are presented with problems, it is a fact of life.
Even though other people tell us these situations shouldn’t bother
us, that is a little easier to say that to experience.
However, it is easier to sail through difficult situation when we
are clear on what we want out of life. By being clear, we can make
choices in rough times that are in line with our ideals and our
desired outcomes.
We we are not clear, we are prone to scrambling to solve the issue
with some quick-fix solution. This often makes things worse.
1. What do I really want?
The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your
life and so little time to even make it through the day. How do I
know what I really want.
First, make a list of things you don’t want. Then use this list
to create a second list of the things you do want. Usually the
things you do want is the exact opposite of the things you don’t
want so sort through them to discouver what it is you do want.
2. Should I really change?
Today’s generation has taken another level of redefining ’self’, or
at least that’s what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage
kids wandering through my home at any given time has taught me that
there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or
maybe even promiscuity. So define if you really do need to change,
or are things not as bad as you are making them to be?
3. What’s the bright side in all of this?
With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for
even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still
see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny.
And if it’s a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride
and see what makes the world go round!
4. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?
There’s always the easy way and the right way when it comes to
deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt, or whatnot.
It doesn’t take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else
we’ll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings
in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.
5. Have I done enough for myself?
Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment
in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small
amounts you’ll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine
doing.
6. Am I happy at where I am today?
If you love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, or if
you love where you work, or if you love who you are married to, then
take it up a notch! But if you are not happy with these things, can
you change them or find a way to see them through new eyes that lets
you enjoy them more?
7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?
So maybe I don’t have an answer to that, but that doesn’t mean I
can’t try. Whether you get in shape, change the way you wear your
clothes or hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should
always remember you have to be happy with who you are first and
foremost.
8. How much could I have?
I suppose in this case it’s not a matter of having too much or too
little, but it’s more on how badly you really need it. People want
to have lots of money, there’s no denying that, so the question
should be .. ‘how much are you willing to work for it?’
9. What motivates me?
What motivates you? It’s an answer you have to find out for
yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy,
but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It’s not like you
can’t have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that’s
it. Just try it piece by piece.
10. What Really Makes You Tick?
So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you
always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that
may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start
that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just
about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but
it’s something that you really want.
