I wanted a quick review about food that can help the liver rebuild and be happy. I ound these 2 links and have shared partial experpts. Go to the links and you can also listen to podcasts on these topics.

When reading such articles: research, consult a practioner, and know your goals. Much said about detox may be OK depending on your health. Food always is a safer route. Also do not continually detox unles you are working with a doctor or practioner.

PROTEIN :

ONIONS & GARLIC :
Rich in sulfur-containing compounds. Involved in sulfation, the main detox pathway for environmental chemicals and certain drugs and food additives. Helps with the elimination of harmful heavy metals from the body.

Your liver has many functions; stores certain vitamins, minerals and sugars for use as fuel, cleanses/filters the toxins out of your blood and controls the production/excretion of cholesterol. Your overall health and vitality, to a great extent, depends upon the health of your liver. The thousands of enzyme systems that control virtually every body activity are created there. If your liver fails to create even one of these enzymes, overall body function is impaired, creating greater metabolic stress on your body. THE LYMPH composed of
