If you’re the family cook, you may have already figured this one out. Instead of defrosting and cooking meat twice, why not cook double the amount and store half for later? This way you’re ahead of the game when it comes to preparing the next meal.

If your bare legs have a habit of rubbing together causing unpleasant and sometimes painful chafing, and you need a quick fix, try applying deodorant between your upper legs. While I haven’t tried this, I have it on the authority of two guinea pigs that it works!

To set black coloured clothing and slow down the fading, wash it with 1/2 cup of salt or vinegar.

Here’s a tip I had read somewhere but had never had to use, until a couple of days ago:

If you lose the back of your earring, cut a small piece of eraser and stick the post through: it’ll keep you from losing the earring too!

It works!
