Life with Herbs!

I love having the author speak. Emelie Tolley and Chris Mead have produced several books about herbs, decorations, and recipes. The photography plants sedds for your imagination. The books pull you into a luxourious words that much practically exists at your fingertips.

Some herbs grow nearby so that you have easy access. You can create a treasure hunt exploration, or just admire the relaxation and mystical essence of the plant world around you.

If you live in an urban neighborhood don’t be tempted to only hide away in the used bookstore. Find a local greenhouse and browse. GO to a local park and find whomever grows there. Discover the variety of plants for decorations in vacant lots.

Need more adventure? Take a train to the country and explore the abundance plants provide at so little cost. Get out into the world and connect!
Need more information and ideas? Find the Herbal Bouquet book on Amazon.com or browse through Herbs: Gardens, Decorations, and Recipes by Emelie Tolley and Chris Mead.

Too often we spend our lives far from the plants and animals of our world. One does not have to go far to re-connect and renew with our living earth. Stress melts away, lungs breathe more easily, and if we listen, we may even learn more about our sisters plants.

Let Emelie and Chris Mead fill your head with ideas!

Vision Review for COaches and all of us

Take your challenges in hand

Take your challenges in hand

This is part 2. Go to previous post to begin and…
here are notes from something I was reading. Empowering you and your visions can be accomplised through multiple paths. Below are words to help you open your mind while your heart will take off to do your work. Mind movies are a fun way to expand your enthusiasm or recharge you when you get stuck or tired.

More videos in the previous blogs.

Idea 7: Take Action and “Go For It!”

Nothing happens without action. Once you have come up with a Vision that seems to fit well, ACT ON IT. It might not be perfect, but if it’s “good enough”, then get going! You can always “course correct”.

Don’t get bogged down in thinking about HOW you’re going to get there. Momentum is a powerful force,

perhaps THE most important force when you’re first embarking for your Vision.

A sailor on a long voyage can never know for sure the exact course they will take to their destination.

He/she will need to constantly make corrections for winds, current, and unforeseen challenges along the route. In the same way, you can tweak and adapt your own journey.

Idea 6: K.I.S.S. (Keep It Short & Simple)

Once you have a pretty good idea of your vision,

simplify it. Keep honing it down and find ways to bring more clarity. Be brutal; in fact go for what is sometimes call “brutal clarity of purpose”.

There is a nice analogy between

a vision and a powerful photo. A very successful studio photographer was asked how he

consistently came up with powerful photos. He responded, “Once I’ve got all the elements in

the photo that I think I need, I start taking away from it. If I remove or simplify an

element or item and it helps, I keep the change. I continue this process with everything I

can until it hurts the overall image. That’s when I know I’ve got my image.”

The lesson:

try simplifying or removing extraneous parts of your vision. Ask yourself, “Does it help –

or hinder? If it helps, keep the change. If it doesn’t, put it back. Continue with this process until you have the best picture you can.

CONCLUSION
Developing a Vision and acting on it is one of the most essential steps to creating a successful coaching practice. It is also one of the most powerful services you can offer your clients in helping them manifest

their fullest potential.

Try these 7 ideas to help you do this. If something works for you, use it! If it doesn’t, discard it. We all have our own best ways of finding and developing our Vision. What matters most is that you do it, then act on it.

OK you got this far. Now translate this into your own words. Find a way to increase its meaning for you. What do you WANT to do and How Do YOU want to proceed on your journey? Make this process your own and be gentle with yourself on your journey.

Feel free to copy and share. Also your comments are welcomed. May your journey add peace to the world.

Take your challenges in hand

Take your challenges in hand

“Take you passion and make it happen” The following videos provide you an excellent introduction to this post’s topic. Yeah yeah you may already know a lot about visioning. In fact the term may have become an overused buzz word.

My question to all of us remains how long have you envigoarated or refined your vision? I went about my usual introduction to working today. In my email box was the normal sign up for this giveaway now… and I randomly thought maybe I should. Just a few minutes.

While downloading some articles I took note of a little* Yep just that simple * woke me up to the fact that I had tons of ways of setting up webpages.

I realized I could fastforward and dramactically expand my recent thinking. I also realized I had a friend who might help me.
So After dinner the deal was made and I’m off to finally taking action. Mostly because I spent hours earlier fantasizing my “visions”.

Having a strong, clear vision is the cornerstone of coaching success – both for coaches and their clients. A great coach must not only have a strong vision of their own; they must also be able to help their client or “PBC” (Person Being Coached) developing theirs.

The best visions are clear, useful, achievable and inseparable from who and what you (or your clients) are. As a coach, if you can master the skill of helping to create clear and authentic visions in yourself and others, you’ll be light years ahead of your competition. .

It helps both you and your clients with the foundation upon which they can build a successful and satisfying life – both personally and professionally.

FIRST, WORK ON YOUR OWN VISION

Without a clear vision of what you want to do, where you want to go, or what you, success will be much more difficult – even impossible – to achieve.. How can you know
what to do – what actions to take - if you don’t know where you’re going?

When a challenging storm bears down, the gale-force winds will likely capsize your latest plans immediately. You’ll end up looking like you were aboard the Ship of Fools.

Having a clear vision and mission is what gives you that destination. Even though gale-force challenges may temporarily capsize your progress, you’ll more easily be able to get back on
course and reach your objectives.

Contrary to what many people think, visions do not
usually magically appear. They can take time - requiring introspection, self-analysis, and journaling. It also helps to review your past successes and – just as important – your past

disappointments and failures. Draw on your dream, talents and desire. Observe your calling to be a coach.

The first place to look when developing your vision is within – to that deeper inner self. You can draw upon your talent, dreams and desires, or whatever other avenues help you uncover those nuggets that will become your navigational beacons in life.

Unfortunately, there are usually no shortcuts in creating your vision. You can’t just “make it up”; it takes WORK. But the rewards for doing this work can save you years – even a lifetime – of frustration by enabling you and your clients to live the life one is
destined for.

SEVEN IDEAS TO HELP DEVELOP YOUR VISION

Idea 1: Listen and Look Within

Since vision starts within, it makes sense to listen and feel what your mind and soul really

want. What stirs your heart? What is your greatest desire? What do you dream about?
Bottom line: Make sure your vision comes from within. If what you want to pursue does not truly come your inner depths, it will likely be impossible to achieve.

Idea 2: Seek the

Help of Others; Make It a Team Sport
We do not live in a bubble. Utilize a team where you

can. Heed the advice of a person who has more experiences in you – especially in coaching.

Find a coach who works on vision. Seek help from friends who know you well. They can help

you confirm or question your own observations and provide a reality check.

Creating a

MasterMind Group of 4-6 people also working on their vision can be extremely powerful. Use

weekly or semi-weekly calls to support each other and keep the momentum going.

Asking and

using others for guidance not only helps you with your own vision; it also puts you on the

receiving end of help. This experience will in turn help you when you become the coach

helping others with their vision. You’ll have done the proverbial “walk in their shoes”.

Idea #2: Create a Sacred, Inner Space to Go Deeper

The vision you create for your practice

begins in your mind and heart. It is something you can feel, taste, see, hear and touch

with your soul.

Creating a supportive, inner environment is a powerful way to aid you in

developing your vision. To access the inner depths of your mind and heart, find a way to

retreat to a serene and tranquil place where your mind is free of the “outer noise”.

In

this sacred space, your heart, mind, and soul can more easily access what might be called

Source. What you can find there is your most Authentic Self. Tap into this successfully,

and your vision is likely to spring forth easily.

Though your mind may resist with every

fiber of its being, try surrender into this emptiness. Check your brain out at the door. A

Zen master once said, “You already are that which you seek.” But you’ll find it much easier

to uncover that if you are relaxed and can get your mind out of the way.

Step 3: Ask (the

Right) Questions

Ask the questions that provoke and encourage answers to the deeper

questions. These might include:

• What is the single most important thing my practice

needs to go to the next level and further help my customers best?
• What are the three

most important actions I need to take in order to increase my sales or income?
• What

are the three most important changes I need to make in order to help me and/or my clients

accomplish my/their objectives?
• What is the single biggest challenge that – if

resolved – would most help me or my clients.

Idea 5: Identity the Problems Holding You

Back

Sometimes we’re just plain stuck. What about you? Where are your points of

“stuck-ed-ness”? Discussing it with others – especially your coach and MasterMind team –

is a powerful way to uncover the detours around or through the roadblocks holding you back

from developing your vision.

There are times when we must first clear the rocks off the

trail before we can continue on our path of self-discovery. Moving these out of the way

helps unblock the energy flow, enabling us to more easily tap into the Source for

answers.

Love, weight loss, and intuition

Wow! This is a great set of resources for you. I had a slightly different idea when I started, however the videos opened new doors. Have you considered the connections of love and weight loss?
Of course, many of us are different and have multiple causes for weight gain. Still if this is an issue and concern for you, do visit the above links to examine how your feelings may add to the pounds.

Also the second video is a good start. If weight loss is not an issue for you, the newsletter gives lots of other posts that will address issues you may be dealing with and how love can move you toward healing. These are great tools to have to ease stress or pain in your life.

If you got this far, great! No matter where we start on considering the issue of love, answer this question: how much and how often do you love yourself? Until recently, I would have answered of course I love myself! I do. The how often is another story. If I were to complete a thought journal of my mind chatter and feelings about me, at least 50% would be less than loving. A friend recently asked me if I were being a good parent to myself? I do many good things for myself, yet at that moment I was far from a loving parent to myself.

Practise loving yourself. Do it in many forms and include a spiritual loving of yourself. Your world will open up. More about intuition later.

The kid got my swing!

Need copy for a blog? Visit youtube. Pick a topic and proceed. Of course you then need to apply what you find to a message that others will want to read! It’s easy to get on a roll.

The WInds of Change…we are all subject to these winds now. The winds of change may tear you apart. Listen to these lyrics while you read the quotes. You may suddenly find your world turned upside down. If you were one of those car dealers what would you do? If you lost your job today what would you do? Do you have faith to rise up, stand tall, and recreate your faith and prosperity?

Try saying yes. That’s a first step.

Realize that there are people all around you who can stand with you and offer support and help. In fact you can do the same too. Together you can find ways to create new journeys.

Yes you can find work that will satisfy you. Yes you may even create new jobs. Perhaps you will reach out to dreams neglected. Paths open for us all. The “Okies” went to California and farmed again. SOme found other jobs, some died. Most however, found ways to build lives, as did those who stayed behind, and kept small towns alive. OUr lives can change and thrive. Join the group.

Look within and discover...

Look within and discover...

I love good stories. Especially when they appear unexpectedly. Take a look at this one.

If you watched these 2 videos, perhaps you will find strength to review how you approach your world. Where does compassion fit into your life? All too often I keep my compassion in my back pocket. However today, I met customers who really needed some extra help. I decided to stay with them a little longer, and they seemed to light up and feel appreciative. Each person had a plan to reduce pain and expand their path to health.

Little acts of kindness can spread a healing energy to many. Consider these vibrations. I smiled at one sad looking woman. She, in turn shifted her attention and smiled back. Perhaps, we both extended acceptance and acknowledgement to others. By the end of the day how many people, however briefly, might feel better?

We can spread love, peace, and accpetance anytime we choose. Perhaps we can take new viewpoints to open ourselves to the blessings in this world. Take time to stop and think, and can you expand your life, heart, feelings to have more room to give a little light to others around you. If yes, then thanks for joining the peace train. Perfection is in God’s hands. We can share in God’s light. Namaste. Mary

On Completion and Hope

Spring is a time of beginnings. I love beginnings. I love the creative potential living in beginnings.

And, I have a certain uneasiness, maybe sometimes a terror, of completion. This is probably because I confuse completion with ending, death, nevermore, impossible to alter or evolve, ultimate separation.

So I feel I am overwhelmed with incompletions. Paradoxically, this is hardly true as my life is full of completions. I get things done and done well. Yet, I seem to avoid looking at and recognizing the completions and closures that abound in my life.

I am going to use this post as a way to explore my feelings. From my experience as a counselor I am aware many people have similar issues. If you are one of those lucky individuals with a clear sense of process – of beginning, middle and end – I would ask you to post your words of wisdom to share with the rest of us.

What is a way I can reframe “completion” so that I feel safe and alive?

I just looked up the definition and the etymological root of completion. I could write a book on each of the definitions.

From the Latin root I get the picture of “fulfill.”

The dictionary offers several definitions:

Collected together – ordered.
Run its course – finished, done.
Entire, full, to the greatest extent.
Successfully throw to a receiver – boy, this is important for me as I am a message maker and need to get the message to my audience. If I have difficulty completing I will never fulfill my life’s purpose.
Make whole or perfect – I am so stuck with not feeling whole or loveable/perfect that I project it on to my life and my work.
Hope never lets me complete!

There is an insight forming in my soul as I write. It is about hope. Hope keeps me from being aware of all my “completions.” Hope keeps me focused on the future. Completion is a focus on what has been done in the past.

My painful childhood developed in me such a strong sense of hope and an strong identity with hope. Hope was my survival. To survive I needed to endure and hope. I hoped for rescue. I did not plan an escape. Rescue is wishful and passive. Escape is intentional and active. I did not have a plan! I did not have benchmarks of accomplishment. I had hope.

Like Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, I thought sleep (even with all the nightmares) was the way to pass the time until the rescuing kiss touched my lips. Hope kept telling me all I had to do was go to sleep and dream. I did not need to have a plan of action with a beginning, a middle, and an end.

My identification with hope as the path to fulfillment was so powerful that all that I was actually doing to shape my life (when I wasn’t just hoping) seemed like a vague disembodied dream. I couldn’t experience process or completion. I only felt real and my life only felt real when I was hoping.

Hope can be addictive. From a neurochemical perspective, hope triggers the release of dopamine, the pleasure reward neurotransmitter that is the root of addiction. We call addictive, dopamine-producing drugs, dope. My dope has been hope.

Very long day. Consequently, I am prematurely fatigued. However I want to get some stuff down.

How often do you pull important ideas from thin air? It’s a great exercise. Automatic writing helps. Start with a pen and paper. Write 10-20 questions. What and how do you want to change your life?

Then without thinking, start writing down your answers. The results may surpise you.

Now for 10 tips:
1) DO you want to change your life? IF no, then go outside and play. It’s good for the body and mind. List ideas that move beyond your ordinary mind chatter. These do not have to be monumental changes.

2) How do you feel about these possible changes? Are you willing to begin? When? Write answers to these questions.

3) Prioritize and budget.Which would be the easiest to accomplish, and which change would require the least amount of capital? Start with these a nd get a success/completion momentum going. This will also build confidence. Write thes ideas on 3X5 comment cards to review and update.

4) Make a list of recent successes. Are you on the path that will create peace and happiness. How are you doing about connectivity and friends? Family? What is most important to you now?

Jazz Fest Report
Dear Friends,
I’m just back from New Orleans, lucky to have booked myself into the city early in the year for the second weekend of Jazzfest. As a result, I am one culturally enriched human being. Fest head Quint Davis went to Africa and brought back two groups of dancers and drummers who could do extraordinary things with their bodies that I never saw before: I saw dancers from Benin do magic tricks, making dancers appear and disappear on stage right in front of us, and The Crocodile Gumboot Dancers of South Africa made rhythms with their bodies, stamping their feet, that were unlike anything I’d ever heard. Someone is going to put a Youtube video up for them of the performance–I will Twitter when I see it.

Anyway, it seemed like the best dancers and musicians from all around the country and world were on the Festival fairgrounds for four full days, morning til night. I was in musical, food, and surprisingly, conversation heaven. I met a lot of interesting people there, about three a day. It was like a Fellini movie, where people were willing to go to some fascinating place in their conversation in just moments. It could have had to do with the fact the tickets each day were $50, and it raised the bar on how resourceful people were who entered the gates. No time was wasted learning interesting lessons on the fairgrounds, and then there were the passerbys…a woman with dollar bills pinned all down her front, so that, I presumed, if you were short one dollar and you really wanted to get a soft shell crab po’ boy, you could pull one off her chest if she happened to be around. It was a friendly crowd.
At night the streets were filled with people and music–I went to a late night set of the Midnight Disturbers with Trombone Shorty that took place in a converted middle school. There were little clubs and restaurants and art galleries in the different school rooms, and the auditorium is where the headliner bands performed and people danced. (They came on at 1:15 AM–people stay out late in New Orleans;;the paper lists music sets starting at 3 and 5 am)
Each day after Jazzfest, people poured out of the fairgrounds and many found their way into street parties along the way home, with brass bands on the corners and food stands set up. They were all over town. The cafe scene is very hot in New Orleans too–all different styles of cafes that at least during Jazzfest, stay open late. Where I was in the Marigny district, people lounged outside with others, or worked on their laptops outside, in between tropical plants and local art work. A groovy scene.
I rented a bike the minute I got there, a big $500 cruiser that made for effortless riding all over town. (Go to Michael’s on Frenchmen Street.) I traded a psychic counseling session to get picked up at the airport and driven right to the shop. Then we were off to Lafayette Park, where Marva Wright and Marcia Ball were playing…the party started within minutes of landing. I left while it was still a little light, stopping at a local dive;type place named Mother’s with great gumbo, then down to the River Park to pay my respects to the mighty Mississippi, and through the Farmers Market and French Quarter and into the funky arty Fauborg Marigny.
I could talk all day about the music and magic in New Orleans but it’s time for the May psychic messages. One more thing: New Orleans was thriving, but not the wetlands that protect it. I learned that wetlands are being lost at a rate of an acre an hour, and this threatens the whole coast of Louisiana. According to environmentalists and scientific projections, the people there either have to take measures immediately to fix the problems, or move, as in move the coast of Louisiana and everything built on it. New Orleans is still threatened even though it looks good in the good places. It needs attention now, was the message.

What’s New on my Blog: I’ve added many posts and a couple of new articles written by colleagues, one on real Magick and how to create a personal ritual by Eric Teissedre, and one by a new guest contributor, Catherine Adams, who writes about extraterrestrial communication in ‘Starry Connections’. Also, my improved intuition exercise that gives you your own answers, with music from Little Wolf is in the media library (and on the intuition page here)–thanks for the feedback, please try it!

Earth Day Messages, April 22, 2009: (receiving this message made me a stronger believer in the power of the collective consciousness to impress, to be a force, because truthfully, I didn’t know it was Earth Day–it was like, Wednesday to me–until I looked it up the date later in Jim Maynard’s Astrological calendar.
In the morning I walked outside into the warmest and happiest Spring air of the season yet, and in it was a high and joyous energy, and the collective thought-form, “Green, green and glorious planet earth…what can I do for you?” As if a million people were paying attention to planet earth–as if Earth were alive, and wanting our attention and heartfelt sentiments. We’re changing, and the earth is receiving our blessings.

Earth Day Divination April 22, 2009: USA: Hate groups in the mid-West continue to strengthen; crime networks in the East Coast are under pressure to leave the area; territory/land is lost in the south around the Mississippi; a city like Chicago (inland, middle U.S.) becomes a more powerful, thriving metropolis; a Canadian city like Ontario, Quebec, also grows. A defining moment in the West…something happens that makes a difference to, has an impact on half of California (Now at this publishing, May 7th, it’s looking like the legalization of marijuana.) Southern states get colder.

Nature: A lot of volcanoes in the southern latitudes. Venus conjuncts the Moon in May, blessing love, creativity, and business for those who can let go of whatever they’re clutching, who can spin out into May’s beneficent and lucky spheres. Let yourself go, the water’s warm, say the currents of May– you are very likely now to wash up on a better shore.

Discoveries and Developments: New methods of growing (food); underwater oil supplies are in the news;already developed products coming into the market and moving it.. An important development with alternative energy is ongoing and has the power to profoundly change things.

Left-out Spring ‘09 divinations: Preventative medicine and a wholistic health approach get very very “in” in the forseeable future. Be wary of investing substantial amounts of money in anything. It’s perhaps too early to invest in knowing what is substantial.

Guidance for Creative Manifestation: The straight and narrow path produces marvelous fruit in May. This is a very good time to be concerned with your creation, what you love to manifest in the world and can create right now, and that only. If it’s not your fate to blow up, blow apart, transform, you will be having all kinds of discoveries in your creative life. Don’t waste the opportunity!

The collective move towards ingenuity: We are more sure of ourselves, willing to let go, and understanding of deep motivations. Being kind to yourself is productive. Be aware of judgment from others as you change. Continue changing. We are releasing age-old criticisms from deep within us, and at the same time moving closer to communicating and travelling out into space. We are coming into a deeper realization of our collective power. As smart as we want to be! The triumph of ingenuity!

Personal Psychic Messages and Oh Card Readings for May 2009

Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): Expect both a new beginning and that you have an emotional reaction as you let go of the past. Oh Cards: Air signs have a very revelatory and self-aware month, where a lot of personal traps they get themselves into can be eliminated.

Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): You’re destined to go out into the world and establish yourself in a more powerful way. The details of this wouldn’t be revealed this month, just your general direction, and you’ll fill in the gaps by September. Oh Cards: You may be coming to the end of the road in a personal relationship. It can be part of a desire to have more joy. Be ready to help others as many people call on you.

Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces): It looks as if you’ve got an idea, you’re moving forward with something, but you get information that changes your tactic or action plan, and this adjustment or new course taken is successful. You find ways to manifest your intentions. Oh Cards: If attracted to something, take your time committing to it: get to know the potential of the firm, make sure your interest is long-term.

Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): You have to make different arrangements, for some reason, than what you’ve been expecting. You’re in between places, not sure where you’re landing, but a better plan is coming. Oh Cards: If your life in some way is delayed, where you’re not getting what you want now, you can swing between being in a real funk about it, really down in the dumps about it, sitting in a bar alone about it; or you can be playing, whistling, seeing whose in the play ground, having fun even if you’re having to play by yourself, doing things that are fun for you to do. You seem to have a choice of postures to take while you wait. One’s fun, one’s not.

Taurus 2009 Birthday Message: “You are tentative, yet hopeful, as you move towards something that looks like it might be real, that you can step into. Something appears that facilitates a lot of change in you and creates a defining circumstance you are happy with. Blessed be to all your new endeavors, don’t rule anything out.”

Perhaps you are a bit like me, I think too often that I know “it” all. At my age, I actually know better to “think” that. Your marketing plans, your business plans, your product plans, your life plans, and all other sorts of plans? Do they work out exactly or do they resemble a list of things that do not come true?

Often times we hear business, marketing and life gurus tell us that planning and goal setting are the key to creating a successful life. They tell us also to visualize and have vision. That is all well and good. But it is about time someone told us exactly how to exactly set those goals so that our results are exact. And it does not stop there. How do you visualize and think after that? Your goals and visions, in the presence of right thinking and certainty, are the prophecies of what you shall one day become. You are in luck, for this article goes exactly there. It takes you into the ultimate in goal setting and visualization. Here is a most effective technique.

Let us start with the goals and visualization then move on to thinking. These are the goal setting steps to follow. These steps are the same whether you are doing it for your business or for life. In fact, try not to separate your life. Life is a whole, and it works out that way. Separation only exists in the mind at the level of the ego. Make life goals that include your business and marketing. Do not make business goals only by themselves on the side and forget life goals as this will actually short-circuit the business goals. Everything works together as a system. So here we go:

1. List what you would like to have, do and be between now and the next 30 years. List everything you can think of, small and large. Places to visit, things to have, residences, experiences, partners, skills to acquire, things to do, people to meet, projects, charities, health, habits - everything! This is not a list of what you think you can achieve. It is a list of what would give you the most incredible life of you liking, whether you think you can achieve it or not. A life that is unbelievably fantastic for you. Your list should have at least 100 things in there - it is not hard to come up with at least 100 things for 30 years. To be very wealthy, have about 5,000 things - even small details regarding your desires should be in there.

2. For each goal you listed, write the reasons why you wish to have it. If for example you wish to have a large home, write down the reasons why. In other words, what will you do with and in this home? Put drama into it. Reasons empower your goal and make it easier to imagine and visualize and attain it. They give life to it and make the subconscious accept it a whole lot better.

3. Get cuttings from magazines, brochures, the Internet, photographs, etc, of the items in your goals and stick them in your journal. Start a goals and visualizations journal on paper or computer. In it, place pictures of the things you wish to have - cars, stocks, buildings, boats, land, travel, clothes, or anything else. Refer to it often - twice a day is highly recommended. The more real and detailed your visualization and imagination is, the faster and more accurately you will realize your goals. Pictures are very important to have in your life.

4. Everyday, read your list, look at your pictures, and then spend at least 20 minutes twice a day imagining, animating, and visualizing in detail all your goals. If you meditate, and it is highly recommended that you do your goal visualization, do your goals visualization in meditation as well. Meditation puts you closest to The Source, the best place you can be to plant your seed of visions into the field of infinite possibilities and creation.

5. Then, Here, Now, do something that takes you closer to your goal. There is always something to do now, however small. It will open the next step to you, a step that may be unseen until that first act is taken. Every act is an act of self-definition and creation. Act deliberately and with awareness so that each act takes you closer to your goals, not further. Act with purpose.

6. Do everything with gratitude. Think, speak and act with gratitude, the gratitude of knowing you are guaranteed success if you act in the ways of these laws. Gratitude is a statement of certainty. That is power. Be genuinely grateful and excited about the fact that you already have your goals realized, for they will be by universal law, guaranteed, and so they are. This type of gratitude works wonders.

7. Enjoy your fruits, enjoy experiencing your goals when they manifest into your reality! They are sure to do so, guaranteed by universal law. The reason they are guaranteed is that every moment of your life is created by your mind (and in a lesser extent the collective minds of people around you). Your life is images of your mind, expressed, translated and crystallized into form. You are literally the source of your life, although it may not appear so especially if you are not present and aware of your daily thoughts, worries, desires and beliefs. Most people are unconscious and engulfed in their mind in one huge day dream. Wake up and watch yourself!

‘I Am….’ ‘I Am….’ No matter what you are trying to create next in your life, find a way of putting it into ‘I Am’. For example if you wish to loose weight, do not think or say ‘I will loose 10 pounds ‘or ‘I want to loose 10 pounds’. Instead say, think and write ‘I am x pounds now’. Do the same with wealth. The only time that exists in the universe, scientifically and spiritually, is Now. Hence ‘I Am’.

Do not worry how your goals will be fulfilled. There are powerful forces at work in all of nature, with infinite intelligence and coordination. Things, people, books, places, TV shows, movies, etc, will start appearing and helping you to achieve your goals. In other words, ‘coincidences’ will happen. Simply visualize your goals believingly.

The trick is in the details and in consistency. For example, if having a new home is a goal you have, write it down in detail. Write down where the house is located, how many rooms it has, the size of the compound, the size of the home, the furnishings in it, and so on. Then visualize it that way. And do not change your mind - this is very important. Understand that the universe is in activity manifesting into physical form all your thoughts. Every single one of them turns into some amount of physical form somehow and somewhere. If you change your mind, you will be undoing your work. Just hold your thought until it become fully physical.

You are almost done. All that is left now is to know a little bit about creation and thinking, so that you maintain your vigilance and confidence.

All thought has an effect. Therefore, imaging your life exactly as you wish it to be and be it. Become it. Do not let another thought ever come in that contradicts or weakens that vision. If you notice one coming in, immediately block it, change it for a positive one, and declare that you shall never let yourself think something like that again. This is the ultimate in positive thinking. It is focused and filtered. Do the same with your words and actions. Never let anything you say or do go against your vision, your highest wished for life. This is because life is created through thought, word and action, and therefore you must guard all three. Do not stress over this. It may take effort at first but it will soon become normal to you. And if you are in a ‘bad’ spot, remember that all conditions are temporary, as is the nature of everything in the universe. Conditions do not define you, for you are beyond them. In fact, only you can determine how long you remain in a ‘bad’ spot by the way you handle that situation in terms of your thoughts, words and actions.

The final thing is to be present. Stop day dreaming all the time. Be present, be here, Now. It is the only time that exists, the only place you can be, the only place where life is. And it is the only place where you can do anything anyway. Be grateful for the present moment, as it resolves itself always at your command, and for that be grateful or else you miss its fruits and ‘lessons’. Stop chasing your dreams in your mind, for such a place is a phantom world that does not exist. Instead, call them forth into your present moment, Now.

That is about it! A mouthful but that should get you going very well indeed! Be present, be vigilant, be certain, and be clear. If you wish to learn more about all this, see the free sections of the downloadable ebook called A Happy Pocket Full of Money at www.ImagesOfOne.com. I wish you all the very best.

The Good Earth ANd Spring Awakening

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009
Now what could you do with this?

Now what could you do with this?

I have just had a strange and tumultous week. Thanks to good friends, I have made much progress. Stress hasn’t totally left my scene, however, I am much better. Thus I dedicate this to the good earth. Here’s a few reasons why:

1) When I am tired, down, or outright upset, I can take a short drive to the country and regain a positive outlook.

2) Even when I went for a “therapy/energy” session, my friend took time to show me the new chickens, and newly sprouted plants in the green house.

3) it rained yesterday. We live in the Southwest and really need the rain.
4) My lilacs are blooming! They survived 2 frosts.

5) I was healthy enough today to plant flowers, discover a pumpkin plant growing and do several hours of yard work.

Working with the earth nourishes my soul. I become grounded and centered. I work out frustrations, and know peace. The little bit of exercise also is good.

I hope you too can renew and de-stress with nature. Let spring fill your heart with love, and then share it. Get flowers for someone. Take time to appreciate the blossoms and growing things around you. Let dandelions beam into your mind the power of sunshine.

Imagine if we gave back even 10% to the earth of what she provides everyday how much better life and the world would be.

Gardening ( my previous post) can provide a fine meataphor for living. In our busy world, we may not sufficient time to do the spring cleaning of our mind. We may not even be taking enough time to exercise our mind, our faith, or visions.

Below you will find a few suggestions on how you can achieve, and may enact your mental and spiritual spring cleaning.

1) Take a walk. Appreciate what you see. This walk may just be in your yard or around your office complex.
2) Take 2-5 minutes when you wake up thinking of 5 good things about today.
3) Scatter seeds for your imagination to play with.
4) While driving, scatter seeds of love and health.
5) While cooking pray about anything that comes in your mind.
6) Sign up for or iniate a church retreat.
7) In the shower release at least 3 negative thoughts a day. Wash them away.
8) Feed your imagination. Learn something new.
9) Draw. If you don’t know how, get crayons and paper and draw just anyway you can for fun. (You have permission to cheat and use coloring books).
10) Pick one dream, sketch out a plan to realise it, and take one step a week or more if you have energy toward realizing that dream.

It’s Spring, and growing, changing, wondrous energy is in the air. Be Spring. Enjoy spring. Breathe spring. Scatter thosse seeds and they will grow.

At Last

The Law of Attraction for Regular People

Carol King
(aka Coach Carol)

It is a common sense thing really. Look around, do some research and
you will soon have a picture of just how much of the western world is
over weight. Now if all of these lotions, potions, machines and programs
really worked the majority of the western world would be slim fit and
healthy.

Ok, so why don’t diets work? If you are beginning to have a deeper
understanding of the law of attraction it will be easy for you to answer
that question.

The law of attraction states that like attracts like, that we attract what
we focus on the most and we become what we think and feel about the
most.

Then it stands to reason that if a person feels that they need to loose
weight, their focus and attention is fixed upon loosing weight, and if their
attention is fixed upon loosing weight what will they attract? Yep, having
to loose weight. They will live their lives in a constant state of having to
loose weight. It is much like needing money to pay your bills, as you fix
your thoughts upon needing money; you simply create a deeper and
deeper need for money.

If you decide you want to loose weight, you must accomplish two things
before you even consider creating a plan of action. Firstly you must learn
to love yourself, it will be impossible to loose weight if you do not love
yourself, I will explain why later on. Secondly you must forget that you
need to loose weight.

If you can accomplish these two things and begin to see yourself as the
magnificent child of God, all-powerful being and limitless creator that
you are, reaching your perfect weight will be as easy as reaching into the
refrigerator for a refreshing bottle of water.

Amazing Body Tip #1

No more insults. One thing that many overweight people do is constantly
direct very negative words towards them selves. Every time they pass a
mirror and catch sight of their silhouette the insults or negative mind
chatter starts. This goes back to what we were talking about in the
previous chapter about loving yourself. A huge part of loving yourself is
stopping the insults and speaking kindly to your self.

40

When you see yourself naked stop and look at your body, really look at it
and understand that you created it so you can change it. Also when you
look at your body, remember that is all it is, a body. It is just the casing
that carries your true self, the better wiser higher you. An oyster is not
enjoyed because of its shell, it is enjoyed because of what is inside and so
it is with you. It is time for you to enjoy yourself because of who you
really are and not because of the packaging of you. Stop playing with the
bubble rap and get to the gift inside.

Think of all the things you love about your body, your gorgeous eyes,
your sexy mouth, your luscious hair and focus on those things. When
you catch sight of your reflection do not start criticizing say ‘hello
gorgeous’ look away and move on. I promise you that if you keep that up
for a month you will suddenly find that when you look at yourself in a
mirror no insult will come to mind, you will have trained your mind to
accept the new belief, you are gorgeous.

Start seeing yourself the way others see you. This was a huge one for me.
Instead of walking around all day long complaining that I was over
weight, I started to look at people when they gave me a compliment and I
mean really look into their eyes, to see what they saw in me. What I saw
amazed me. I saw true admiration, respect, and love and yes sometimes
sex. I found it shocking but very exciting to discover that some men
thought I was very sexy, especially when all I could see was way too
many bulges.

Instead of laughing it off or immediately countering a compliment with
an apologetic insult, I started to smile and say ‘thank you, I appreciate it”
and I truly did, because every time I received a compliment it added more
evidence to my mind that I was a worthwhile human being and worthy of
respect, admiration, love and sex. Doing this over a period of time really
helped me to begin looking at myself in a completely different way and
helped me recognize my own value.

Amazing Body Tip #2

Reach your perfect weight. If you are serious about using the law of
attraction to reach your ideal size then I highly recommend Perfect
Weight by Deepak Chopra. What an amazing little book it is, in just a few
short chapters Chopra manages to spell out why traditional weight loss
methods do not work and then goes on to give a detailed specific plan on
how to discover your true body type, how to eat correctly for your body
type and how to exercise correctly for your body type.

41

This book resonated with me because it is not a weight loss book, notice
the title, it is not called the Chopra Diet or Loose Weight with Deepak.

No, it is much more than that, it is a life style change and this is in total
harmony with the teachings of the law of attraction. The law of attraction
is not about jumping into action to make things happen it is about
changing yourself on the inside so the things around you on the outside
change automatically.

Amazing Body Tip #3

Do it for you. If your mother wants you to loose weight, tell her to ______.
If your father wants you to loose weight tell him to ______________.
If your extended family, friend’s, co-workers or neighbors want you to
loose weight gather them all together and tell them to ______________.

Basically do not go after perfect weight because others want you to.
Perfect weight cannot be obtained because it is the wish of someone else;
it has to be your wish. If you are over weight and yet you are active and
healthy and you are happy in your own skin then the others can talk till
the cows come home.

Do no try to live up to what other people think is the right standard for
you. They cannot make that call for you, only you can do that. If you
follow their commands and loose weight you will still not be happy and
most likely you will put back on the weight anyway because it is not
what you wanted in the first place. So politely or not so politely if it is
necessary, tell your well-meaning family and friends to back off and leave
you alone, you are happy and if you are happy they should be happy for
you.

A few years ago two of my weight obsessed Aunt’s came over to visit, it
got to the point where I could no longer take their well meaning
suggestions for how I should go about loosing weight and I told them that
I was not trying to loose weight and I wanted to gain weight so that I
could become a female sumo wrestler. Needless to say this left them
rather bewildered and concerned, so they immediately turned their
attention to my mother to try to come up with a plan to save me from
myself.

I continued telling people that I was trying to reach sumo size for quite a
few years until I realized that it was a cop out.

42

I was justifying my weight, albeit in a rather bizarre way. I then changed
my focus and stopped apologizing. When anyone told me I needed to
loose weight I thanked him or her for the input and told him or her that I
was perfectly happy the way I was. It did not take long before I noticed
that people stopped commenting about my weight all together.

The universe responds to your strongest, feelings, words and actions.

I was emitting a frequency of love and acceptance of me, so wherever I
went people loved and accepted me and did not see the over weight body
that I was previously so obsessed by.

Amazing Body Tip #4

Get off your butt. No amount of visualization, affirmations or positive
thinking is going to help you if you sit in front of the TV night after night
stuffing your face with potato chips and popcorn. There must be some
activity in your life. It does not mean that you have to go and join the
skinny people gym and face the staring and sniggering. It just means you
have to put in some effort. In Deepak Chopra’s book Perfect Weight he
mentions walking for 30 minutes a day. You could start by walking for
20 minutes twice a week and build up to longer more frequent walks.

But it does not have to be walking; your activity could be playing with
your dog in the park, going swimming, using an exercise bike at home,
running around with your kids in the yard or raking up leaves in the
garden. It does not matter what you do, just do it for at least 30 minutes
and do it frequently, daily is best.

Also make sure it is something that you enjoy doing; you will not keep it
up other wise and do not view it as the exercise that you have to do in
order to loose weight, think of it as the activity you love to take part in
daily because it makes you feel good.

Amazing Body Tip #5

Be patient. The amount of time it takes to reach your perfect weight will
depend upon several things like, your level of belief; you’re past
experiences and your level of vibration. So no one can tell you how
quickly you will reduce your weight. Be patient, kind and loving to your
self this will definitely speed up the process. Do not jump on the scales
everyday to check to see if you are really loosing.

43

By doing this you’re emitting a frequency of lack of belief, you are telling
the universe that you do not believe that it will deliver your perfect
weight to you, so that will become your experience.

Relax; follow the tips in this e-book and in Deepak Chopra’s Perfect
Weight. Devise a plan for yourself, use affirmations, visualize yourself at
your perfect weight and most importantly enjoy the process, it is not a
test of speed but one of determination. If you are truly focused on the out
come of your request, if you remain a vibrational match for your desire
and if you make healthy choices for yourself the result must be perfect
weight.
